Please do not forget to send your CV as well. We will then review your CV and application form and if you match the set of skills we are looking for we will invite you to the next stage, which is psychometric testing.
Psychometric testing includes numerical, verbal reasoning and cultural match tests. You will be able to access these through your account page on this website. Where available, you will be able to take tests in your local language.
We would recommend that you take the tests in a quiet environment where you will not be disturbed. Also try doing some psychometric tests before the British American Tobacco one in order to increase your chances of success.
If you are successful in the psychometric testing, we will invite you to participate in a competency-based interview. In most cases this interview will be conducted in English.
This interview will assess your key leadership and functional competencies as well as your motivation to join British American Tobacco.
If we feel that you have the right set of skills and motivation for the programme, we will invite you to attend a British American Tobacco assessment centre. Here you’ll be able to demonstrate your skills through a number of stretching, but fun group and individual exercises. The assessment centre will take one day.
5Interview with head of function
The final stage of the selection process is the interview with your Head of Function. If you are successful, you are joining British American Tobacco!
