“One of the greatest things about BAT is that you have lots of opportunities for development. You just need to be ready to seize them and undertake difficult tasks. There are always experienced colleagues around you to keep you away from big mistakes and support you. You can learn a lot from people you work with.”
“I feel that the program with its variety of assignments, intensive trainings and international experience has brought me to the next level. When the program was over, I had mixed feelings. On one hand, I missed the crazy drive of the program. On the other, a new chapter in my career was opening. Brand team received me very well, huge number of projects and more responsibilities made me feel excited and confident in my future career path.”

Psychometric testing includes numerical, verbal reasoning and cultural match tests. You will be able to access these through your account page on this website. Where available, you will be able to take tests in your local language.
We would recommend that you take the tests in a quiet environment where you will not be disturbed. Also try doing some psychometric tests before the British American Tobacco one in order to increase your chances of success.
If you are successful in the psychometric testing, we will invite you to participate in a competency-based interview. In most cases this interview will be conducted in English.
This interview will assess your key leadership and functional competencies as well as your motivation to join British American Tobacco.
If we feel that you have the right set of skills and motivation for the programme, we will invite you to attend a British American Tobacco assessment centre.
